Special Olympics Northern Beaches
Awards Night 2024 at Dee Why RSL
Koshka Media photographed the Special Olympics Northern Beaches Awards Night 2024 at Dee Why RSL in Sydney, capturing an evening dedicated to celebrating local athletes and their achievements.
Our professional event photography documented the award presentations, special guests and memorable moments shared by the Northern Beaches Special Olympics community. The awards night brought together athletes, families, coaches, volunteers and supporters to recognise the hard work and accomplishments of local Special Olympics athletes.
Celebrating Local Athletes and Their Achievements
The evening was all about recognising the athletes who make the Special Olympics community so special. From proud moments on stage to warm applause from family and friends, the awards ceremony was filled with smiles, excitement and genuine emotion. Special Olympics provides sporting opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities, helping athletes develop confidence, friendships and a sense of belonging through sport.
Special Guests at the Awards Ceremony
The event welcomed local community leaders, including Northern Beaches Mayor Sue Heins and NSW Member for Wakehurst Michael Regan, who helped present awards and celebrate the athletes’ achievements. Their involvement highlighted the importance of community support and recognition for inclusive sporting programmes across the Northern Beaches.
Event Photography at Dee Why RSL
Koshka Media was there to capture the evening through professional event photography. Our focus was on documenting the atmosphere of the celebration, from award presentations and group photographs to candid interactions between athletes, families and special guests.
Events like this are a reminder that photography is about more than documenting what happened. It’s about preserving meaningful moments, personal achievements and the people who make them possible.
