The North Sydney Garden Competition celebrates the creativity and effort of local gardeners in the North Sydney area. It encourages residents to showcase their beautifully maintained gardens, whether private backyards, front lawns, or communal spaces. The competition highlights the importance of green spaces in urban environments, promoting sustainability, community spirit, and the beautification of the local area. Gardens of all types are recognized, contributing to the overall enhancement of North Sydney’s natural landscape.

With more than 60 entries over 10 categories, it was a hard job for judge Patrick Houlcroft to award the winners. There was a division for just about every kind of green space from balconies and indoor gardens through to vegetable plots and community gardens.
