Hunters Hill ANZAC March & Memorial Service 2026

community event,  council event,  event,  parade

Hunters Hill ANZAC March & Memorial Service 2026 Event Photography On April 23rd, the Hunters Hill community gathered for the annual ANZAC March and Memorial Service – an evening of remembrance, reflection, and respect for Australian service personnel past and present. Hosted by Hunter’s Hill Council together with the Hunters Hill RSL Sub-Branch, the commemorations began at the RSL Memorial Wall before the community march proceeded through Alexandra Street toward Hunters Hill Town Hall for the evening service. The service brought together veterans, families, local residents and politicians, scouts, cadets, and community organisations in a shared moment of remembrance. A Community United in Remembrance The evening opened with an Acknowledgement of Country recognising the Wallumata People and honouring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service personnel. Throughout the service, prayers for peace, scripture readings, wreath laying, and the traditional recitation of The Ode created moments of quiet reflection. As the piper played and the flag was lowered to half-mast, the atmosphere across the memorial wall became deeply moving. The familiar words: “At the going down of the sun and in the morning, we will remember them.” were spoken collectively by the crowd before the response echoed back: “We will remember them. Lest we forget.” Photographing the ANZAC Service Photographing commemorative events such as ANZAC services requires sensitivity, patience, and respect for the significance of the occasion. Rather than focusing only on formal moments, we aimed to document the emotion and atmosphere of the evening – quiet reflection, veterans standing proudly in uniform, wreaths, community participation, and the solemnity of the march itself. These events are important historical and community records, preserving moments of remembrance for future generations. The Hunters Hill March Following the wreath-laying ceremony, the ANZAC march moved through Hunters Hill accompanied by pipe band music and community members walking together toward Town Hall. The evening concluded with blessings for peace and remembrance, honouring those who served and sacrificed. Hunter’s Hill Council described the event as a community commemoration honouring those who served, those currently serving, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice. The 2026 SailGP season continued the championship’s reputation as one of the most visually exciting sporting events in the world, with elite international teams racing at speeds exceeding 100 km/h on Sydney Harbour. Held against the backdrop of the Sydney skyline and Harbour Bridge, the event attracted sailing fans, tourists, corporate guests and sports photographers from across Australia. Corporate Event Photography Guidewire Insurance Forum Sydney 2023 at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney Koshka Media photographed the Guidewire Insurance Forum Sydney 2023 at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, capturing a polished corporate event in one of Sydney’s best-known conference venues. Held on 29 May 2023, the Guidewire Insurance Forum brought together insurance professionals, industry leaders and technology partners for a day of presentations, conversations and networking in Sydney. Guidewire describes the forum as a one-day event designed to connect the insurance community through insights, shared ideas and discussion around the future of insurance, making it a strong example of the kind of conference coverage that benefits from experienced corporate event photography. Conference photography at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney For this event, our focus was on documenting the full story of the day in a natural and professional way. That included speaker presentations, audience engagement, networking moments, sponsor branding, room details and the overall atmosphere of the conference. Events like this move quickly, so strong coverage depends on anticipating moments as they happen while keeping the photography consistent across wide venue shots, candid interactions and tighter keynote images. Four Seasons Hotel Sydney was a fitting setting for the event. The hotel’s harbour-front Circular Quay location and dedicated meetings and events spaces make it a strong choice for premium corporate conferences, industry forums and executive gatherings in Sydney. From a photography perspective, it also offers the kind of refined interior environment that works well for professional event imagery. Corporate event photography for conferences in Sydney At Koshka Media, we photograph corporate events with a balance of documentary observation and brand awareness. For conferences like Guidewire Insurance Forum Sydney 2023, that means creating a gallery that is useful across multiple channels: internal communications, future event promotion, LinkedIn content, media releases, sponsor wrap-ups and marketing for the next year’s event. Need a photographer for a conference at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney? If you’re planning a conference, forum or corporate event at Four Seasons Hotel Sydney, we’d love to help you capture it with photography that feels polished, human and genuinely useful after the day is over. Sneha Chatterjee speaking at the International Women’s Day conference in Parramatta

Conference Photography & Videography at PARKROYAL Parramatta

community event,  conference,  corporate functions,  event,  non for profit,  photo+video,  video

Conference Photography & Videography at PARKROYAL Parramatta Some events stay with you long after the final speech, the last photograph, and the pack down. Koshka Media recently photographed and filmed the conference – Silence to Power: Amplifying Voices for Justice at PARKROYAL Parramatta, an International Women’s Day signature event presented by Settlement Services International (SSI) and the Western Sydney Region Settlement Consortium (WSRSC). Bringing together more than 200 guests, the day centred on the launch of Messages from Captivity: For Ali, for Us All – Amera Ali, a powerful memoir by young Yezidi woman and ISIS survivor Amera Ali. Amera shared words she had written on scraps of paper and hidden in her clothes at just ten years old, messages to her brother Ali, who remains missing. Her story gave the event enormous emotional weight and reminded everyone in the room that bearing witness can be the first act of justice. Photographing and Filming Silence to Power for International Women’s Day One of the most memorable elements of the day was a tree lit with warm lights at the heart of the room. It symbolised one of the last places Amera and her brother were together before ISIS separated them, under a fig tree. As guests left, they hung commitment leaves on its branches, each one representing a promise of action in support of refugee and migrant women’s voices. It was a thoughtful and moving detail that shaped the mood of the event from beginning to end. A Moving Conference Honouring Refugee and Migrant Women’s Voices Throughout the conference, another theme emerged with quiet strength: mothers. Again and again, speakers reflected on the women who carried them through hardship, often with resilience the world never properly acknowledged. That thread connected Amera’s story to the panellists’ experiences and to conversations across the room, reminding everyone that supporting refugee and migrant women means honouring past generations while building better futures for those to come. A powerful idea also stood out across the day: the need to move beyond the phrase lived experience and recognise lived expertise. Refugee and migrant women are not simply sharing stories. They bring insight, knowledge and leadership that should be centred in decision making, policy and practice. As the speakers and panellists made clear, real inclusion means shared power and meaningful leadership at the table. The event also highlighted the work of the organisations behind it. Settlement Services International (SSI) and the Western Sydney Region Settlement Consortium (WSRSC), together with co-hosts and members including SydWest Multicultural Services, Accessible Diversity Services Initiative (ADSI) Limited, Community Migrant Resource Centre, Western Sydney MRC, and event partner 2M Language Services, created a day that felt purposeful, respectful and deeply considered. The venue played its part beautifully. PARKROYAL Parramatta provided a polished and welcoming setting for a conference of this scale, with modern event spaces and a central Western Sydney location well suited to professional and community focused gatherings. Event Photography and Videography for Not for Profit Conferences If you are planning a conference, community event or not for profit gathering, Koshka Media would love to help you capture it with thoughtful photography and video coverage across Sydney and Western Sydney. Michael Morgan OAM Lunch at Deckhouse Woolwich

community event,  event,  public places

A Full Room for Michael Morgan OAM at Deckhouse Woolwich Last month we had the privilege of photographing a very special community lunch honouring Michael Morgan OAM. The room was full of former students, colleagues and well wishers, all gathered to celebrate a man who has given so much to Australian rowing and to generations of rowers he coached and mentored. Michael is an Olympic silver medallist, former Australian representative rower and one of the most respected rowing coaches in the country. Set against the water at Deckhouse in Woolwich, the afternoon had a warm and generous feel from the moment guests arrived. The venue looked beautiful, the room was buzzing, and the food was every bit as good as the setting. Plates arrived full of rich, beautifully presented dishes, and between courses the conversations kept flowing. What stood out most was the feeling in the room. People from different rowing eras were reconnecting after many years, sharing stories, laughs and memories. There were heartfelt speeches, friendly hugs, and a deep sense of gratitude for the coach who had shaped so many lives both on and off the water. It felt less like a formal event and more like a reunion built on respect, friendship and appreciation. Photographing gatherings like this is always special. It is not just about documenting a function, but about capturing the connection between people, the emotion in the room, and the small moments that tell the real story of the day. Intense live moment from Vopli Vidoplyasova Australian debut

Vopli Vidoplyasova Live in Sydney

community event,  event,  music event

Vopli Vidoplyasova Live in Sydney 2025 Concert Photography by Koshka Media Vopli Vidoplyasova’s First Australian Show In December 2025, Sydney welcomed Vopli Vidoplyasova for their first-ever Australian performance, marking a major milestone in the band’s 40th Anniversary World Tour. The show at Liberty Hall, Sydney, was also part of a fundraising tour, adding deeper significance to the night beyond celebration alone. It was a cultural moment that brought together music, heritage, and community. Koshka Media was engaged as the official concert photographer for the Sydney performance, documenting the night from behind the scenes, the front of stage, and within the crowd. The goal was not only to capture the band on stage, but to visually tell the story of the night as it unfolded. Vopli Vidoplyasova are one of the most influential Ukrainian rock bands of the last four decades, known for blending punk, folk, ska, and rock into a sound that is instantly recognisable. Seeing that legacy performed live in Sydney was a rare and powerful experience. Photographing Live Music at Liberty Hall, Sydney Liberty Hall’s raw, industrial aesthetic and strong stage production made it an ideal venue for live music photography. The lighting design, movement on stage, and proximity between the band and audience created a high-energy environment that demanded constant awareness and anticipation behind the camera. From the opening song, the atmosphere was electric. Long-time fans sang along, while others experienced the band live for the first time. Frontman Oleh Skrypka delivered a commanding performance, shifting seamlessly between explosive movement and quieter, emotionally charged moments. Concert photography in this setting requires more than technical skill – it requires timing, intuition, and an understanding of live performance dynamics. Every song presented new visual challenges and opportunities. A Fun and Light-Hearted Finale Liberty Hall’s raw, industrial aesthetic and strong stage production made it an ideal venue for live music photography. Concert Photography That Captures Energy and Culture At Koshka Media, live event photography is about capturing emotion, movement, and connection – not just documentation. Throughout the night, the focus was on: The physical intensity of the performance The cultural weight carried by the music The connection between the band and the audience Small details often tell the biggest story: a brief pause between songs, the interaction between band members, or the crowd reacting as one. These moments are fleeting, and capturing them is what transforms event photography into visual storytelling. This concert held particular significance for the Ukrainian community in Sydney, adding another layer of meaning to the night. The atmosphere reflected unity, pride, and shared experience – elements that are central to strong live event imagery. Live Event Photography by Koshka Media Being trusted as the official photographer for an international touring band is a responsibility Koshka Media takes seriously. The images produced from this event are designed to serve multiple purposes — archival, promotional, editorial, and cultural documentation. Koshka Media specialises in concert photography, live events, corporate events, and cultural performances across Sydney and NSW. Each project is approached with a focus on storytelling, professionalism, and delivering images that reflect the true energy of the event. Vopli Vidoplyasova’s Sydney debut was loud, emotional, and unforgettable, and it was an honour to document it as part of their Australian chapter. Sydney video marketing content for InvertiGro

Marketing Content Photography in Sydney: Capturing InvertiGro’s Innovation

branding,  marketing content

Marketing Content Photography Sydney Capturing InvertiGro’s Innovation Recently, Koshka Media, a renowned marketing content photography provider in Sydney, embarked on a challenging assignment at InvertiGro’s workshop in Alexandria, Sydney. The mission? To create compelling marketing content that showcases InvertiGro’s groundbreaking indoor vertical farming solutions. Here, we delve into the complex process and the challenges overcome in this interesting project. InvertiGro’s workshop, filled with advanced farming boxes lit by LED lights, presented a unique challenge. LED lights, essential for plant growth, emit a spectrum of light that can be tricky to capture accurately on camera. As a marketing content photographer in Sydney we had to balance with available low quality light and our portable studio light to ensure the true essence of InvertiGro’s technology was represented in the best light. The use of reflectors and diffusers was crucial. These tools helped in softening the studio light, making it complement the LED lights rather than overpowering them. It was a delicate balancing act, requiring skill and precision. Crafting Marketing Content Photography: A Focus on Detail Throughout the shoot, the emphasis was on creating marketing content that was not only visually stunning but also informative. Each photograph aimed to tell a story — the innovation of InvertiGro, the efficiency and ease of use of their systems, and the sustainability of their approach. Close-up shots of the plants, portraits of staff, internal procedures of measuring the growth and quality of plants. This variety in imagery ensured that the marketing content was diverse, engaging, and informative. The project at InvertiGro’s workshop was a testament to the expertise of Koshka Media as a marketing photographer in Sydney. By overcoming the challenges of lighting and capturing the essence of InvertiGro’s technology, we created marketing content that was both beautiful and compelling. Jewellery Photography Sydney Sarah Gardner Campaign with Amy

Jewellery Photography Sydney Sarah Gardner Campaign with Amy In the digital age, where online stores are the new storefronts, the significance of professional jewellery photography cannot be overstated. Sarah Gardner Jewellery, a renowned name in the realm of handmade bespoke jewellery. A recent jewellery photography campaign for Sydney designer Sarah Gardner, featuring Amy from Stone Street Agency. This shoot focused on capturing the organic textures, Australian gemstones, and handcrafted detail that define the brand. The outcome was nothing short of breathtaking. The session, held in Sarah’s workshop in Paddington, featured the talented model, Amy from Stone Street Agency. Photographing Jewellery with Depth and Intent Jewellery is more than an object – it carries weight, memory, and meaning.Photographing it requires restraint and attention to detail. For this campaign, the approach was simple: clean compositions controlled lighting a focus on how each piece sits on the body Rather than over-styling, we allowed the materials – gold, stone, texture – to speak for themselves. Professional Jewellery Photography does more than just capture the physical attributes of jewelry – it tells a story. Each jewellery piece of Sarah Gardner’s collection, when photographed professionally, communicates its unique character and craftsmanship. The precision of Koshka Media’s lenses, combined with Amy’s dynamic representation, transformed these unique pieces from mere accessories into coveted treasures. This visual storytelling is crucial for online stores. It bridges the gap between the tangible and digital worlds, allowing customers to almost feel the texture and appreciate the intricacy of each design. Jewellery Photography for Brands in Sydney The impact of professional jewellrey photography on customer engagement and sales is profound. High-quality images not only capture attention but also build trust. They offer customers a detailed and accurate representation of what they’re investing in. For Sarah Gardner Jewellery, this meant showcasing the sparkle of a diamond, the curve of a metal band, or the elegance of a gemstone in its truest form. Customers browsing online do not have the luxury of touching or trying on the jewellery, making these visual cues all the more essential for their purchase decision. As the digital marketplace continues to grow, high-caliber visual content is not just an option, but a necessity for the success of online jewellery stores. Looking for Jewellery Photography in Sydney? Jewellery deserves to be seen with clarity and intention. For Australian brands, considered photography plays a key role in how a piece is understood its weight, texture, and presence. At Koshka Media, we work closely with designers to create imagery that reflects the craftsmanship behind each piece. The focus is not just on how it looks, but how it feels – translating detail, material, and form into something lasting. If you’re looking to elevate your jewellery imagery in Sydney or across Australia, we’d love to collaborate.
